This is a newly created Salesforce Functional Lead role within a fintech scale-up that’s in the early stages of their Salesforce journey. You’ll be the go-to person bridging the gap between the business and tech, playing a hybrid role across functional design, hands-on build, and day-to-day team delivery.

The business is led by proven operators who’ve scaled successful finance companies before. They’re now building something new — and Salesforce is at the heart of it. You’ll get to shape how it’s used from the ground up, with Financial Services Cloud in place and plans to expand across the platform over time.

You’ll work alongside a brilliant Salesforce Architect who brings both deep technical experience and a genuine mentoring mindset. It’s a rare opportunity to take ownership of the functional space, learn, experiment, and leave your mark.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working closely with business stakeholders to understand needs and write clear, actionable user stories in Jira
• Exploring and testing Salesforce features, building flows, and pushing the platform to do more
• Acting as the glue across the delivery team — keeping the squad aligned, accountable, and on track
• Supporting sprint planning and ensuring clear prioritisation (without needing to formally be a PM or Scrum Master)
• Helping shape the future of Salesforce in the business, from early use to full platform maturity

What you’ll bring:

• Strong functional Salesforce experience, ideally in Financial Services Cloud (but not essential)
• Confidence writing stories, gathering requirements, and turning them into practical Salesforce solutions
• Hands-on configuration skills — you’re curious, experimental, and not afraid to try new things
• Experience working in agile teams and helping keep projects moving, even without a formal PM title
• A collaborative, proactive mindset — you’re someone who owns problems, not just tasks

This is a permanent role based in the Sydney CBD, with a requirement to be in the office 3+ days per week. You’ll be part of a high-performing team with strong leadership, big plans, and a genuine appetite for innovation.
